This morning I was sitting with my 5-year old while he put a puzzle together. I was reminded of the power of Just One Piece.
He got frustrated and wanted to give up, “I can’t DO THIS.”
“It’s ok, baby, you don’t have to put the puzzle together,” I said.
“You just need to do one piece.”
Such a powerful reminder, right? We all have metaphorical puzzles we’re putting together. Sometimes they make us want to shout and give up.
Because life can be damn hard.
But I find a lot of comfort in knowing that I don’t have to do it all, I can just do the one next thing.
What’s your puzzle?
